RLC Solver — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

RLC Solver is developed by Adriano Martins Moutinho. This policy describes the Android application identified by com.rlcsolver.app.

Information handled by the app

The app calculates electrical circuits on your device. It stores your current circuit and editor preferences in its private local storage. Circuit data consists of component identifiers, values, grid positions and AC source settings.

The app does not collect or send personal or device information to the developer. It has no account system, advertising, analytics, tracking SDK or network permission. Calculations work offline.

Files you choose to open, save or share

You can select a circuit file using the Android file picker. The app reads that selected file to display and calculate the circuit. You can save XML circuits, text reports or images to a location you choose.

Sharing happens only when you select a sharing action and a destination app. The circuit or image is then made available to that destination through Android's sharing system. A receiving app or storage provider handles the content according to its own policies. RLC Solver does not automatically upload your circuits to a developer server.

Local storage, retention and deletion

The current circuit, preferences and generated sharing files remain in the app's local storage until replaced, removed by Android, or deleted by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it. Exported files remain in the locations you selected; delete them using your device's file manager or the relevant storage provider. Uninstalling the app does not delete files you exported elsewhere or copies you shared with other people.

Android protects private app files with its app sandbox. Sharing uses Android content-URI permissions for the destination you choose. There is no developer-side circuit database and no account to delete.

Support correspondence

If you email the developer, your email address and the information you choose to include are handled through the email service to respond to your request. For questions or requests concerning that correspondence, use the contact address below. Please avoid sending information you do not want to share.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated if the application's data handling changes. The date above identifies the current version.
